Key Responsibilities / Essential Duties

•Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, ensuring consistent user experience across browsers, devices, and screen resolutions.

•Build and maintain scalable server-side applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or .NET, ensuring high availability and low latency in production environments.

•Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient queries, and manage data persistence layers using relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) to support application performance and data integrity.

•Develop and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs to enable seamless communication between front-end applications, back-end services, and third-party systems across the enterprise.

•Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, ensuring automated testing, build, and deployment workflows aligned with engineering best practices.

•Deploy and manage cloud-based applications and services using platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform, leveraging containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

•Optimize application performance across the full stack — including front-end rendering, API response times, database query efficiency, and server resource utilization — to ensure low latency and high throughput for end users.

•Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using testing frameworks, conduct code reviews, and enforce code quality standards to ensure application reliability, maintainability, and adherence to software engineering best practices.

•Implement application security best practices including authentication, authorization, input validation, encryption, and vulnerability remediation aligned with organizational security policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

•Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders through Agile/Scrum ceremonies to translate complex business requirements into scalable, production-ready technical solutions.

•Communicate technical requirements, architecture decisions, and development progress to cross-functional partners across multiple time zones, adapting communication approaches for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.

•Document technical designs, API specifications, deployment procedures, and knowledge artifacts to ensure operational continuity during transitions, enabling seamless integration of evolving team structures.

Qualifications

Education

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent related experience (required).

•Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (preferred).

Experience

•Minimum professional experience as per the Level in full stack software development, with a focus on building and maintaining scalable web applications across front-end and back-end technologies.

•Minimum of hands-on experience as per the Level designing, developing, and deploying production-grade applications using modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and back-end languages and frameworks (Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET).

•Demonstrated experience with end-to-end application development — including responsive user interface design, RESTful API development, database design and optimization, and CI/CD pipeline implementation — within an enterprise cloud-based environment.

•Experience in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences) is a plus.

Certifications (Required / Preferred)

•Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or AWS Certified Developer — Associate — Required (one of the two).

•Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert — Preferred.

•AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Associate — Preferred.

•Meta Front-End Developer Professional Certificate or Google UX Design Professional Certificate — Preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

•Expert-level proficiency in modern front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in component-based frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js for building responsive, accessible user interfaces.

•Proficiency in application security practices including authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT), input validation, encryption, and vulnerability remediation aligned with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.

•Strong experience with version control systems (Git), branching strategies, code review best practices, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies for collaborative software delivery in cross-functional team environments.

•Experience with testing frameworks and strategies including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing to ensure application reliability, code coverage, and maintainability across the full technology stack.

•Strong software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and clean code principles to ensure scalable, maintainable, and well-architected application codebases.
